Lyndal Stewart

As a Director with Business Mechanix, Lyndal is responsible for providing Management consulting to our customers, and running the cousulting and Sales & Marketing teams. Since joining Business Mechanix in September 2004, she has been engaged in a number of roles and on a number of customer projects as well as heavily involved in the organisation and running of the company.

Lyndal was contracted into the role of Project Manager with one of New Zealand’s leading corporate law firms from September 2004 – February 2005 where she assisted the IT management team with budgeting and planning for the upgrade of their Document Management System. The system is used nationwide by over 500 users. The first phase of the project was completed in December 2004, and involved project managing a product evaluation phase which included requirements gathering, product evaluation and fit gap analysis.

In addition, since November 2004 to current, Lyndal has been consulting to a division of an Auckland tertiary institute. She was contracted to assist them to in-source their technical support function from a third party vendor. The role has involved performing a business process review and creating new processes for the in-sourced support team and customers as well as new legal agreements, and a new internal staff structure. Lyndal is now overseeing the support function, and is continuing to review process and implement change across other areas of the business.

During her time with Business Mechanix, Lyndal has also provided consulting and support to various organisations on both sides of the Tasman. This work has included providing assistance and advice ranging from recommendations for end user bibliography software, process implementation of web based on-line, document collaboration and discussion tools, architecture reviews as well as ERP performance management consulting and more recently CRM consulting and advice.
